Bobby's Writing These poems Bobby wrote are not put on here because they are great works of art. They are here to show the turmoil Bobby had inside him and he was never able to be free of. There are so many other teenagers who've written the same poetry. It's their way of expressing what's going on inside them. I brought these writings to doctors to give them a glimpse of Bobby's thoughts. But Bobby was good. He always knew how to say exactly the right things without ever letting out his secret thoughts and feelings. He could even give you a very logical explanation of this poetry, leaving you with a feeling of "Maybe he is OK." In the summer of 1999, Bobby was sent to BBRC for 3 months. This is a boot camp type environment. He had been sent there for possession of drugs at school. Bobby thrived in there. His poetry during this period was uplifting and showed a more happy side of him. I cannot find these poems anywhere. At one point I tried to get Bobby sent back. He WANTED to go back. But, they said he wasn't "bad" enough. He had to go out and "do something" to get put back in. This almost makes you want to tell your child to go out and "do bad" so he can get the help he needs. There is something wrong with this picture!! Anyway, here are the ones I had thought to put on my computer. That's why I have them. As I find more, I'll add them.
